Rescue operations ongoing in Kramatorsk after Russian strike, Ukrainian president says
According to the Ukrainian president, at least one person was killed and three others were injured in a Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk on Tuesday.
“Kramatorsk. A Russian missile struck the city’s core. Six high-rise structures were damaged. Three people have been injured. One person was killed. My heartfelt condolences to the family “Volodymyr Zelenskyy communicated via Telegram.
Rescue efforts are still underway in the aftermath of the strike, he added.
On February 24, last year, Russia launched a “special military operation” in Ukraine.
According to the most recent UN figures, the war between the two neighboring countries has killed over 8,000 civilians and injured nearly 13,300 more.
