After a six-story structure under construction toppled upon their home at daybreak on Thursday, rescue personnel in Kenya are attempting to contact members of a family who are thought to be trapped.
According to St. John Ambulance Kenya, the structure collapsed in the Ruaka neighborhood of Kiambu county, which is close to the nation’s capital, Nairobi. The adjacent structure collapsed while the family was sleeping inside their home, it was added.

Two days prior, in Kasarani, a city less than 15 kilometers (9.5 miles) away, a multi-story structure that was still under construction collapsed, killing at least three people.
