A$AP Rocky is apologizing for his shortened Rolling Loud show, but the reasons behind the interruption, specifically clock management, are upsetting some fans.

The rapper was on duty on Saturday night in NYC, when he performed on the Fashion Nova stage rather late in the evening—approximately at 9:45 PM, according to reports. There was a lot of talk about moshing with the crowd in between the two songs he was able to perform, according to what others are saying.

In the end, his event was abruptly cut short at around 10 PM, which clearly irritated A$AP at the moment. His DJ immediately apologized for the situation.

Not only was Rocky furious, but those on the street were as well. They complained that he was running late and that he should have kept performing instead of making all these side statements. It wasn’t Rocky’s best performance, according to a small number of people.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, AR arrived quite late. According to reports, he was due to appear on stage at 8:55 PM but didn’t till nearly an hour later. According to our sources, the festival’s organizers pushed the kill switch because of a noise restriction that was already in place when things started, and they were obviously trying to abide by it.

Rocky is taking full responsibility for the situation and is apologizing on social media for how it all turned out. He didn’t actually mention timing at all, but it appears he’s taking the majority of the blame and vowing to do better the next time.

Also present was his girlfriend Rihanna, and following some fantastic news on Sunday, we’re confident that all will be forgotten about them.
