The 8-month strike will come to a conclusion, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has stated. This will enable public universities to resume their academic activity.
Channels News reports that after a meeting of the union’s leadership on Thursday night that went into early Friday morning, the union decided to call off the strike.
