Beyoncé, the music superstar, announced a new couture collection with Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing on Friday.

According to Vogue, the “Renaissance Couture” collection features 16 outfits inspired by songs from her album “Renaissance,” and is dubbed “the first wearable album!”

Beyoncé thanked the designer and the French fashion house on Instagram on Friday for “bringing Renaissance to life in couture.”

“It was liberating to design alongside you — thank you for allowing me to celebrate the human form, take artistic risks, push boundaries, and freely express myself,” she wrote.

Vogue France, which dubbed Beyonce a “superstar” in its April issue, went into detail about how the collaboration came about. After listening to the album last year, Rousteing reached out to Beyonce’s team in the hopes of co-creating the collection, according to Vogue.

“Dear @beyonce, working with you on this couture collection was more than a dream,” Rousteing wrote on Instagram. “You have been an inspiration to me since the beginning of my career. Renaissance is more than just an album; it represents FREEDOM, STRENGTH, LOVE, and the BATTLE FOR A BETTER FUTURE.”

Beyonce, who now has the most Grammy wins in history with 32, announced the Renaissance world tour, which will kick off on May 10 in Stockholm’s Friends Arena.
