Renowned Nollywood figure, Dayo Adewunmi, fondly called Sule Suebebe, has passed away. The celebrated Yoruba actor breathed his last on Wednesday morning at a medical facility in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
According to reports from Punch, the news of Suebebe’s demise was disclosed by Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, a popular cleric based in Ibadan, who had been overseeing the actor’s well-being in recent times.
Taking to Facebook to share the sad news, Agbala Gabriel penned, “It’s with deep regret, Baba Suebebe breathed his last at the hospital this morning. May his soul rest in peace.”
Suebebe gained widespread attention in 2023 when he opened up about his past, acknowledging his erstwhile reckless lifestyle during his youth.
Notably, Gabriel, a compassionate young pastor renowned for his acts of charity, had extended a helping hand to the veteran actor by providing him with a new residence last year.
