Cameron Diaz, the lovely actress known for her roles in films such as “Charlie’s Angels” and “The Mask,” is reportedly retiring from acting after filming her upcoming Netflix film “Back in Action” with Jamie Foxx is completed. Diaz, 50, wants to spend more time with her 3-year-old daughter, Raddix and has found that the long hours of filming are too difficult to balance with family life.
According to a reliable source, “Back-to-back 10-hour workdays have taken their toll on her, and she misses Raddix. Cameron enjoys being a mother more than anything else in the world.”

Benji Madden, Diaz’s husband, is supportive of her acting career, but her time on set has been difficult for him as well. Cameron’s decision to retire is not entirely surprising, as she had previously stated that she would retire from acting a year before Raddix was born in 2019.
Diaz, on the other hand, surprised fans when she returned to acting to co-star with Foxx in “Back in Action.” The action-comedy, directed by Seth Gordon, is set to hit theaters in 2024.

Diaz and Foxx have a good relationship
Despite reports of on-set drama, including Foxx allegedly throwing a tantrum and firing several people, Diaz’s decision to retire had nothing to do with Foxx, according to a source close to her.
According to the source, Diaz understands the need to make difficult decisions in the industry and that Foxx is the only reason she agreed to do the film.
Cameron has already made a name for herself in Hollywood, and she “has nothing left to prove to anyone,” according to the source. Diaz and Foxx have known each other for years and have previously collaborated. They both starred in “Any Given Sunday” in 1999, and they reunited in 2014 for the remake of “Annie.”
According to Screen Daily, filming for “Back in Action” began in the United Kingdom on December 2, 2022, and will continue in Georgia between March 27 and April 14, 2022.
