Celebrities from Nigeria have sent their condolences in response to the passing of David Adeleke’s (aka Davido) and Chioma Rowland’s son.

Ifeanyi, the couple’s three-year-old son, was said to have drowned on Monday in a pool at his parents’ home in Banana Island, Lagos.

 

Nevertheless, the incident has been confirmed by the Lagos State Police Command.

Eight persons, including Ifeanyi’s nanny, have been invited for interrogation, according to Benjamin Hundeyin, the police spokesman. He said that anyone found guilty after a thorough investigation will be arrested.

Popular Nollywood actress Muyiwa Ademola addressed the matter on Instagram as well, posting an image in all black with a message of sympathy.

“When parents bury their children, it is one of the most heartbreaking things. We sincerely hope that it never occurs! The parents and the entire Adeleke family may The Almighty grant them the fortitude to endure this loss. Ademola said

“I stated I won’t believe anything on social media unless I physically confirm myself,” the actor Williams Uchemba added on Instagram. I wished it were a lie. I’m angry, hurt, and perplexed. No one should experience this suffering.

Pray for David, Chioma, and the entire family, please. Nobody should be suffering like this. Little one, take a rest.

On Instagram, actress Iyabo Ojo expressed her sorrow and wrote: “I don’t even know how to react to this nasty shock. I wished that weren’t true. My God!!! Olorun, this must be very terrible, upsetting, sad, and shocking! Ikun leabiamo

Stefflon Don, a British rapper, and singer sent her sympathies and urged followers to pray for Ifeanyi’s parents on her verified Twitter account.

“Prayers for Davido and Chioma,” she tweeted.
