Davido has made his football preference clear ahead of the UEFA Champions League final—he’s rooting for Arsenal.

The Afrobeats star shared his support on X after Arsenal booked their place in the final following a narrow aggregate win over Atlético Madrid. Paris Saint-Germain also secured their spot after edging past Bayern Munich in a high-scoring two-legged clash.

With the final set to take place on May 30 in Budapest, anticipation is already building, and Davido didn’t hesitate to weigh in, simply writing that he wants Arsenal to take the trophy home. His comment quickly added to the buzz around a match that already has fans across the world divided.

Off the pitch, Davido continues to hit new career milestones. The singer has been announced as one of the 2026 inductees into the Black Music and Entertainment Walk of Fame in Atlanta, a recognition that highlights his growing global impact.

The honour places him among influential figures in music and entertainment history and makes him only the second Nigerian artist to be included, following Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti.

The upcoming induction ceremony is scheduled for June 1 in Atlanta’s Historic Westside. The initiative, created by the Black American Music Association and the Georgia Entertainment Caucus, celebrates individuals who have shaped Black music culture across the world.

Davido joins a list of honourees that includes names like Ludacris, Paul S. Morton, and Maynard Jackson, alongside global icons such as Beyoncé, Usher, Stevie Wonder, and Mary J. Blige.

Since its launch in 2021, the Walk of Fame has continued to spotlight artists and leaders whose influence has shaped music and culture far beyond their immediate environments.
