Music executive Collins Ajareh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has praised his former artist Wande Coal, calling him the singer with the best vocals in Nigeria.
The Mavin Records boss made the remark during a fan interaction on 𝕏. When a fan complimented Don Jazzy’s own voice, calling it “the best and most unique” in the industry, he responded with humility:
“Most unique I agree, best na Wande [Coal].”
Wande Coal is widely celebrated as one of Afrobeats’ finest vocalists. His talent has influenced a new generation of artists, including Wizkid, Fireboy DML, and Oxlade, who have all credited him as an inspiration.
In a separate conversation with YouTuber Habby Forex, Don Jazzy shared that, despite having the means, he has no plans to buy a private jet. The music mogul explained that he prioritizes responsibility and investment over fleeting luxury.
He also offered advice to young people, emphasizing the importance of smart financial choices and avoiding unnecessary spending. For Don Jazzy, the best investment is in oneself—through knowledge, growth, and long-term planning.
