Simon Charles Dorante-Day made headlines around the world in 2022, around the time of Queen Elizabeth II’s death, when he claimed to be the love child of King Charles III and Camilla.

This is something he has been claiming for several years, and in one of his interviews, he claimed that when he was eight, he had to undergo reconstructive surgery to have his eyes changed from blue to brown in order to hide his resemblance to the royals.

The timeline of Simon Charles Dorante-Day’s love child claims

Dorante-Day provided more details on the timeline of his pursuit of recognition from King Charles III in a recent Facebook post. He insisted that information about him had been leaked during the Paget Inquiry submission in 2005.

The British Metropolitan Police launched Operation Paget in 2004 in an attempt to investigate conspiracy theories surrounding Diana’s death, which occurred in a car accident in Paris in 1997.

“Everyone always asks me how long I’ve been on this journey,” Dorante-Day wrote on Facebook. “As most adopted people will know, for as long as I can remember… so it’s 58 years this year for me.

“Throughout that time, I was experiencing, witnessing, collecting, and compiling evidence about who my parents were. Even if I don’t say or show it, there isn’t much I don’t know about my life!

“As previously stated, Dr. Elvianna began that journey in 1992 and continued in earnest in 1994, and I didn’t hear Nanan’s version until 1998. “It began around 2003 in private and in government circles (UK and Australia) and was leaked to limited sources during the Paget Inquiry submission in 2005.”

Simon Charles Dorante-Day says he didn’t want to make his King Charles III claims public

Despite the attention, Simon Charles Dorante-Day went on to say that he had tried to keep his fight for recognition private.

However, he claims that his story was leaked after information was provided during the Paget Inquiry submission. “The first time it was actually stated in the public arena was ironically on January 26, 2006, through another privacy breach,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Since then, we’ve had to learn to deal with the public side of this while still living a normal life on our own.

“Therefore, no publicity was sought. It was an unavoidable result of the journey and of people’s illegitimate actions (s). “My issue hasn’t been around for five minutes and the longer it has run, the further and wider it has traveled. “It has stood the test of time, and I don’t see it changing anytime soon.”
