Elon Musk conducted a poll on the subject on Saturday and then restored Donald Trump’s Twitter account. Since the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021, the former president has been prohibited from using the podium.

“The people have had their say. Trump will get his job back. Musk used the Latin term “Vox Populi, Vox Dei,” which translates to “the voice of the people, the voice of God,” in his tweet.

According to the poll’s final results, 51.8% of respondents supported Trump’s reelection. Musk claims that more than 134 million people have watched the poll, even though over 15 million individuals took part.

At a gathering for the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas, the former president commented on the poll. He claims that he will remain on his own platform, Truth Social, regardless of the outcome.

He did post a poll, and I’ve heard that it’s really strong and overwhelming. But I have something called Truth Social, and it’s extremely great,” Trump stated. And Truth Social is at an all-time high. It’s doing amazingly well. Engagement, in my opinion, is considerably higher than it is on Twitter.

He continued, “I don’t see it because I don’t see any justification for it. The issues at Twitter are numerous. You can see what’s happening. It might succeed or it might not, but either way, the issues are enormous and the interactions are damaging. But many individuals have switched to Truth Social, and I don’t see them returning to Twitter.

Trump’s re-election comes only days after he declared his intention to run for president in the 2024 election.
