Exciting Headliners Lizzo and SZA Announced for Made In America Festival

As anticipation builds for the highly anticipated Made In America festival, two incredible headliners were revealed on Wednesday (June 14): Lizzo and SZA. The dynamic duo is ready to take the stage and captivate the audience at Philadelphia’s iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway from September 2-3.

This year’s festival lineup offers an eclectic mix of artists, including a joint performance by rap legends Mase and Cam’ron. Attendees can look forward to energetic sets from a diverse range of musicians, both established and emerging. The list includes Miguel, Tems, Ice Spice, Metro Boomin, Doechii, Coi Leray, Latto, Lola Brooke, Coco Jones, TiaCorine, Flau’jae Johnson, Tanerélle, and Lil Yachty, among others.

Currently, on a European tour, SZA continues to receive acclaim for her second studio album, “SOS.” Her “SOS Tour” is a testament to her remarkable record, which held the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart for an impressive 10 weeks. Meanwhile, Lizzo has been making waves of her own, earning her fourth Grammy thanks to her chart-topping single “About Damn Time.” As she concludes her “Special Tour” in July, the excitement builds for her journey to Philadelphia.

The duo previously collaborated on the remix of “Special,” the title track of SZA’s latest project. Notably, the spirit of mutual support between these two powerhouses extends beyond their performances, as demonstrated by SZA defending Lizzo against online trolls and body-shamers just yesterday (June 13).

Founded by JAY-Z in 2012, the annual Made In America festival has been a staple in the Hip Hop and R&B scene for over a decade. After a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the festival made a strong comeback last year with memorable performances by Bad Bunny and Tyler, the Creator.

Tickets for the festival start at $150 and can be purchased through the official Made In America website. Take a look at the full lineup below and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of music.
