Beyoncé delivered a stellar opening night performance of her “Renaissance World Tour” in Stockholm, Sweden, yesterday (May 10). Attendees began to flood social media with livestreams and show clips, and the BeyHive quickly got to work on outfit analysis, song breakdowns, and more.
As more footage from the concert began to circulate last night, one moment, in particular, gained a lot of attention. Before performing her fan-favorite hit “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM,” Queen Bey stepped out in a custom black and yellow Mugler bodysuit. “Swarm on these hands, n**ga!” she exclaimed into the microphone.

Many fans believe this is a reference to the recent “Swarm” Amazon Prime Video series, a show inspired by today’s stan culture and produced by Donald Glover and Janine Nabers. Since its March premiere, viewers have picked up on several Beyoncé references, such as “The Running Scared II Tour,” which alluded to her 2014 “On The Run Tour” with JAY-Z.
Dominique Fishback, best known for her role as Deborah in Judas and the Black Messiah, stars in the show. Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin, Kiersey Clemons, Byron Bowers, Damson Idris, and others made appearances on the show.

Since the concert video went viral, many fans have speculated that the “Crazy In Love” singer made the remark in jest, as she likely gave Glover her blessing for “Swarm.”
“Donald Glover literally knows Beyoncé and JAY-Z. They’ve previously worked together on several occasions. She would have approved the show’s concept. So I doubt it’s shade,” one Twitter user wrote.
The legendary singer officially returned at the end of July 2022 with RENAISSANCE, a 16-song collection with additional contributions from Beam, Grace Jones, Tems, Honey Dijon, Mike Dean, and others. The LP had the highest first-week sales total for a female artist that year, as well as the second-highest first-week sales total for any 2022 album.
