New freestyle from Roddy Ricch is being fed to the streets.
Following the release of his latest album, the Compton rapper stopped by Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 and performed a blazing new freestyle.
Roddy spoke about doing deals with Reebok (“I could earn $100 million selling tennis shoes for real”) and blasted Kanye West (“Might sit back like Ye and stack me a couple of mills”) over the instrumental to JAY-“I Z’s Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)”. Before talking about his romantic life, the self-described “studio junkie” explained why he stays off social media: “I don’t like my name in turmoil.”
He raps, “Got famous on my own, now find a Madonna / Make a million dollar baby / I could celebrate Kwanzaa.”
Lil Durk, who sings on “Twin,” and Ty Dolla $ign is featured on Feed Tha Streets 3, which was released on Friday. With 35,000 copies, the album is expected to enter the top 10.
