Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has sent heartfelt birthday wishes to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), as he celebrates his 68th birthday.

In a message posted on his official Facebook page, Governor Yusuf praised Kwankwaso for his significant influence on Nigerian politics and his ongoing contributions to the nation’s development. He characterized Kwankwaso as both a mentor and a pivotal figure in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Reflecting on their 38 years of collaboration, Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude for the valuable insights and experience he has gained from their professional relationship.

“Dear Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, I celebrate you today, my mentor and our National Leader of the NNPP, on your 68th birthday,” he wrote. “Your leadership and political influence resonate across the country, inspiring communities and nurturing future leaders. You truly are a formidable force in Nigerian politics.”

On behalf of his family and the people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf wished Kwankwaso continued success and many more years of meaningful service to the nation.

Kwankwaso’s impressive political journey includes serving as the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, a two-time Governor of Kano State, Minister of Defence, Special Envoy to Darfur and Somalia, and a Senator. Most recently, he was the NNPP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.
