Guinean authorities have released three civil society activists who had been imprisoned for four to ten months.
After a day of protests against the military junta that took power in September 2021, the men from the National Front for the Defence of the Constitution were released.
Seven people were killed and dozens were injured in clashes with security forces, according to rally organizers.
Only two deaths were reported by hospitals.
They were the latest in a series of protests against military leaders who have postponed the return to civilian rule.
