Hit-Boy and Nas are back with a new single.
The dynamic duo reunites on “The Tide,” the latest collaboration from Hit-new Boy’s album Surf or Drown, which is out Friday. Hit pays homage to Takeoff and PnB Rock over a soulful sample, while Nas shouts out his children.
“All I have to do is keep moving tremendously / If I go today, I live through Knight and Destiny,” he raps before the beat changes.

Surf or Drown also features Curren$y, Dom Kennedy, and James Fauntleroy in addition to Nas. Hit-Boy also collaborates with Alchemist on the previously released “Slipping Into Darkness,” on which he criticizes his co-producers.
“There are some other vibes on there that I think people will dig.” That’s not all… “It’s like modern sounds, soul chops, and sh*t, it’s everything, it’s a world to come into,” he told Elliott Wilson during a Twitter Spaces chat.
Hit-Boy and Nas are also working on the fourth installment of the Grammy-winning series, King’s Disease IV. 50 Cent recently announced that he will appear on the album.
