At the Guinness Accravaganza on December 2, 2023, Shatta Wale, the Dancehall artiste, declared his role as a conduit for divine purpose, aiming to guide the youth through his music. During his performance, he shared his dedication to positively impact the lives of young people, drawing from his personal experiences and struggles during his upbringing. Shatta Wale emphasized that beyond entertainment, his music serves as a platform to convey spiritual messages, recounting moments of personal communion with the divine.

“Blessings have been showered upon us, and my intention is for people to follow me not solely for my music. I see myself as a servant of God, using my music as a means to preach His message. There are times when I sit down for intimate conversations with God. I simply want to do my best to convey that He is The King of Kings.”

Grateful for the support of those who believe in him, Shatta Wale dismissed misconceptions of mystical practices and encouraged the youth to have confidence in themselves. He shared, “No one ever believed in me, but it’s you, you, and you who believe in me today. So, standing here, it’s not through mystical powers. If you consider consulting a spiritualist, beware, as they might exploit you. If you want spiritual guidance, call me, and I will provide you with the necessary assistance. Your success will depend on your efforts. Trust in God because He watches over you.”

In a tangible demonstration of his support, Shatta Wale generously gifted GHC 5000 to five fans while unveiling his new real estate venture, Feelbro Homes. Expressing a wish for greater unity in Ghana’s music industry, he lamented the lack of collaboration among artists and highlighted the importance of collective efforts to uplift their fans.

Expressing gratitude, Shatta Wale said, “I wish Ghana’s music industry had more unity so that we could collectively support you, the fans, who have sacrificed time and money to come and watch us. For that, we are truly grateful.”

Looking ahead, Shatta Wale hinted at organizing a music workshop in the upcoming year. The workshop aims to empower young talents not only in music but also in fostering their individual identities.

“In the coming year, I plan to organize a music workshop, and I invite everyone to participate. It’s not just about music; I want to teach you how to be true to yourself and not emulate someone else,” Shatta Wale shared his vision for nurturing aspiring talents beyond the realm of music.
