President Bola Tinubu paid tribute to the late former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, during his recent private visit to Owo. Tinubu hailed Akeredolu as a courageous leader whose impact will resonate for generations to come.

In his visit to the Paramount ruler of Owo, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, Tinubu extended condolences to the community, reflecting on Akeredolu’s remarkable legacy.

During his interactions, Tinubu also visited the family of the late governor and paid respects to Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the national leader of the Pan Yoruba Socio-Political Group, Afenifere.

Tinubu emphasized the irreplaceable void left by Akeredolu’s passing, emphasizing the significance of departing at the peak of one’s achievements.
