Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has spoken out about his involvement in the ongoing feud between cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, and social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, also called VeryDarkMan.

Recently, Naija News reported that the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ola Olukoyede, initiated an investigation into bribery allegations against some EFCC officials. This came after VeryDarkMan accused Bobrisky of paying ₦15 million to certain EFCC operatives to drop a money laundering case and arrange for him to serve time in a private apartment rather than a regular prison during his sentence.

In response, Bobrisky denied the allegations on Wednesday, dismissing the claims as false and insisting he served his time in prison.

Seun Kuti has now revealed that he was the one who encouraged VeryDarkMan to bring the accusations against Bobrisky to light. During an Instagram live session, Kuti said, “You’re all late to the party; I was the first person VeryDarkMan told about the situation. I gave him the green light to expose Bobrisky.”

Meanwhile, both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan have been summoned to the EFCC’s Lagos office to assist with the ongoing investigation.
