Kanye West is opening a store next to Adidas.
In the aftermath of his failed collaboration with the German sportswear behemoth, the embattled Yeezy designer has opened a Yeezy store on the same block as the Adidas store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
Ye’s new location, according to the Donda Times Twitter account, is just two stores down from Adidas’ retail space. The showroom is located at 8025 Melrose Ave., on the corner of Melrose and Laurel Ave.

It’s unclear whether Ye intends to use the space as a showroom, office, or retail store. The choice of location was not lost on fans, who accused Ye of mocking his former business partner by relocating next door.
One person tweeted, “What a troll,” while another added, “Must be Nice to be rich enough to explore all your petty tendencies.”
On Monday, Ye held his secret YZY Season 10 show, dubbed “YZY FREE,” at his new location. The “extremely low-key affair” featured skinhead models wearing skin-tight white T-shirts, according to High Snobiety. He had just held a casting call at an L.A. warehouse a few days before.

After Adidas cut ties with him in October following his anti-Semitic comments, Ye appears to be moving forward with his Yeezy line. Adidas is facing a class-action lawsuit from investors who claim the company was aware of his offensive remarks for years before terminating its partnership with him.
