The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has called out fellow actors for keeping quiet about the ongoing issues between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

In a message shared on Instagram, he expressed disappointment that many colleagues know what Regina has been going through yet continue to discuss her behind closed doors. He mentioned that senior actors such as Okey Bakassi, Chinyere Wilfred, Jide Kosoko, and others witnessed her behaviour on set and understood that she needed support.

Rollas also recalled a moment at Regina’s son’s birthday celebration, where Ned Nwoko openly mentioned her health challenges in front of several witnesses. He added that Ned once contacted him directly during a planned trip, insisting Regina should avoid Lagos if she was to attend.

He criticised Regina’s mother, Rita Daniels, for focusing on her ambition to lead the AGN at a time when her daughter’s home and wellbeing should be her priority.

Rollas also dismissed claims that Nwoko has been financing the Guild, saying the money being referenced was meant for Regina’s film project, not the AGN.

In his statement, Rollas said he has kept quiet out of respect for the family, but with his name constantly pulled into the drama and colleagues refusing to speak up, he felt the need to set the record straight.

He stressed that while many people benefit from staying silent, he would rather clear his name and maintain his integrity.
