Latto is free in her loaded gun case.

The case was officially dismissed Tuesday, according to the L.A. County Superior Court Clerk, after Latto completed all of the requirements of her year-long program. To clear the charges, she completed a gun safety course, 120 hours of community service, and avoided all firearms.

“I am extremely pleased with the outcome and glad my client can move forward with her flourishing career,” Latto’s lawyer Jamal Tooson told TMZ.

Latto was arrested at LAX in May 2021 and charged with carrying a loaded firearm and possession of a concealed weapon. In April of last year, she began her 12-month diversion program.

The case was not publicized until Latto rapped about it on Mello Buckzz’s “Boom Pt. 2,” with the lyrics, “I got locked up in the airport, goddamn, forgot the gun.”

Latto later revealed more information to fans on Twitter. “Went to LAX with a loaded Glock 17 in my Birk got locked & let out in a few hours lmaooo booked a $75k jet to my show in Alabama & still made it on time!” she tweeted.

She previously denied participating in a diversion program. “Idk who put out that false ass information because I’m not in any damn program,” she added. “Also, the situation occurred over a year ago and you had no idea until I mentioned it in the Boom pt 2 verse.” Nothing to ‘brag’ about. “Please leave me alone.”

Latto keeps things moving. She performed both weekends of Coachella, bringing out special guests such as Saweetie and Mello Buckzz. Teyana Taylor and her all-female production company The Aunties have been hired as her creative director.
