The veteran rapper said: “I don’t have a cent close to that sh*t”.

Lil Wayne recently stated in an interview that he does not ‘have a cent’ close to what Google claims his net worth is.

Weezy was invited to an interview with Culture Millenials, and he was asked about the Google claim that his net worth was $160 million during the interview.

According to the Money Check website, Carter earns $600,000 per show

Carter responded quickly, “Honestly, I’m going to let everyone know right now.” When you go check a muthafu**a’s net worth and that s**t is saying some crazy numbers, I don’t have a dime to match that s**t.”

“Yeah, I don’t have that, but I guess they’re meaning that’s what I’m worth,” he added. So I was constantly calling my agent and saying, ‘I’m telling you, bro, I’m going to fire the s**t out of you because I don’t need you.’

Lil Wayne claims the number is just motivation

He was adamant that it all came down to motivation, and he was right “You know what I mean? I Googled it. On Google, I’m like a zillion-dollar n-gga bro… It’s all about motivation. It’s simply motivation.”

Lil Wayne joked about his net worth after it was revealed that fellow rapper Jay-net Z’s worth has increased to $2.5 billion, making him the world’s 1,203rd richest person.

Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs, or Diddy as he is now known, also made the billionaire’s list after putting in a lot of time and making the right business decisions in his economic ventures and assets.

According to Money Check, industry insiders estimate that Carter earns $600,000 per show, and as an active rapper, he typically performs at least 50 times per year.
