Lil Win is one step closer to his Lil Wayne dreams as his wife has obtained American citizenship.

The Ghanaian actor, affectionately called after the American rapper, took to social media to celebrate his wife’s new citizenship status. Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, expressed his pride in his wife.

On his TikTok and Instagram accounts, the Kumawood actor shared photos of his wife holding her citizenship certificate alongside an American flag. He captioned the post with warm words, “Congratulations on achieving citizenship in the United States of America.”

“May you enjoy many years of success and happiness in this country that deeply values freedom. I am incredibly proud to have you as my wife and the mother of my children. I love you so much ❤️🙏🏻 First lady of WizzyEmpire,” he added in the heartfelt post.

In a surprising turn of events in 2022 on Saturday, May 21st, Lil Win announced his marriage to his new wife, Maame Serwaa, by sharing various photos from their private wedding ceremony.

“Where there is love, there is life. I was called greedy, selfish, impatient, which made me feel a little insecure. I can make mistakes, I can be out of control, and at times hard to handle,” he captioned the post.

“But you proved to handle me and my boys at our worst, and you have assured me that you don’t deserve me at my best. Adom Nyame Nhyira wo ….. Maame Serwaa ….. My time is up to #wezzyempire,” he wrote under a photo of him and his wife. Where there is love, there is life. Adom Nyame Nhyira wo…My time is up,” Lil Win added in subsequent posts.

Although the couple shares three children, their union came as a surprise to many due to Lil Win’s previous marriage to Patricia Afriyie dramatically ending.
