A rift developed between Messi, 35, and the president of Barcelona after he abruptly left Camp Nou in 2021 due to conflicts with the Barcelona board and a financial crisis.
Barca Universal reports that Messi and Laporta have put the metaphorical ‘hatchet’ down and made amends in advance of a probable reunion next summer.
