A Kenyan court sentenced a man who sold potato chips cooked in dirty oil from a power transformer.
Elijah Mwangi Muthoga was arrested just over a year ago with 11 liters of the oil at his Nyandarua County hotel.
He is now sentenced to two years in prison or a fine of 200,000 shillings ($1,570; £1,300).
Zachary Mwangi Gitau, the man found guilty of obtaining oil for Muthoga by vandalizing a power transformer, received a harsher sentence of ten years in prison or a ten million shilling fine.
