Mercy Chinwo’s music producer, Dr. Roy, has cleared the air regarding a viral clip circulating on social media, clarifying that he was not referring to her in the video.

In an Instagram story posted on April 21, 2024, Dr. Roy addressed the claims in the clip, emphasizing that he was actually talking about another producer named Eezee Tee, not Mercy Chinwo.

He stated, “I’m not calling out Mercy Chinwo. The person I’m referring to is EezeeTee who owns Easy Concepts. Mercy and I are facing similar challenges. It’s ironic that the person I’m facing difficulties with is the same one assisting me.”

Furthermore, Dr. Roy debunked allegations that Mercy Chinwo deserted him when his father fell ill. He stated, “Mercy supported me during my father’s stroke and also provided assistance when he passed away.”

The clarification follows the release of a snippet from his interview with The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he discussed his collaboration with Chinwo and Eezee Tee, highlighting the demanding work schedule.

“Mercy Chinwo and I used to work tirelessly, often staying up until 5 am and starting again at 7 am. I had hoped to earn millions from working on Mercy’s projects, and I was gratified to see my hard work paying off,” Dr. Roy shared in the interview snippet.

He also emotionally recounted his father’s struggle with a stroke, underscoring the immense pressure he felt to provide for his family. “Imagine putting in all that effort with the hope of securing your family’s future. When my father had a stroke, I informed Mercy, and she assured me everything would be alright,” he revealed.

The viral clip sparked various reactions on social media, prompting Dr. Roy to swiftly address and dispel any misconceptions.
