Ask young NASCAR superfan Jacob Lemke, who had the jacket off his back after having a very cool encounter with the diamond-selling rapper Nelly, who is the type of person who will give you the shirt off his back.

Jake and his good friend Nate Salisbury recently attended the 2022 playoff cup race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, which Nelly opened up with a performance. Jake was born with Lesch-Nyhan syndrome, a rare genetic disorder.

According to Nate, Nelly was in the area taking pictures and doing interviews after the show, and the driver introductions when he saw them and immediately went over.

Jake’s face lights up as Nelly approaches, complimenting his vest and giving him the personalized Charlotte Motor Speedway jacket he was sporting during the performance.

Nelly had no idea that Jake was there to help him celebrate his 23rd birthday while on a trip organized by Nate and his mother, which made the occasion even more memorable.

Nate claims that more than 8 years ago when Jake was his student, they became friends.

Jake’s father recently passed away, but before he did, he introduced Jake to NASCAR and the world of hip-hop music, and it seems to be working!

Rapping on a variety of stages has been made possible by Nelly’s unique brand of “Country Grammar” hip hop. He will be appearing at Longhorn City Limits and Stagecoach ’23 in addition to his recent performance at a Baltimore Ravens game, which will give him more chances to surprise unsuspecting fans!
