On the set of their new collaboration “Ain’t Gonna Answer,” the Memphis rapper presented his idol with a bouquet of red roses. NLE posted a video of himself handing Wayne flowers and a handwritten note.
“I just want to present my own award, physically presenting you with flowers and a note to let you know how much you inspire me,” he explained.
“You’re a real person,” a grateful Wayne said before telling the camera, “Be like this guy. He’s a genuinely nice guy, man. This is something I do frequently… New and established artists. This does not occur.”

Choppa also expressed his gratitude to Wayne in the handwritten note. “Growing up, I had three idols: Kobe Bryant, 2Pac, and the one and only Dwayne Carter!!!” “I hope this is just the start of a big brother/little brother relationship,” Choppa wrote, whose favorite Weezy song is “God Bless America.”
“Awards could never measure how many lives you have changed and inspired. “I am proud to be a part of both and will be eternally grateful,” he added.
“Ain’t Gonna Answer,” NLE’s collaboration with the GOAT, will be available on streaming services on February 24.
The Young Money boss is also cooking up a new collaboration with his “Uproar” collaborator Swizz Beatz. He posted a video of him and Swizz on the set of what appears to be a music video.
Starting in April, Weezy will embark on his “Welcome to Tha Carter Tour,” which will take him to Minneapolis, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, and Houston before concluding on May 13 in Los Angeles.
