Big Brother Naija alum, Pere Egbi, delivered a blow to fans who were hopeful about his romantic involvement with fellow contestant Mercy Eke. He straightforwardly clarified on the microblogging platform X that there is no romantic connection between them, urging fans to stop pairing them together.
In the later stages of the Big Brother Naija All Stars show, Mercy and Pere displayed closeness, continuing their bond even after the show concluded. Fans affectionately coined the term ‘Percy’ to represent their speculated relationship.
Pere has now made it clear that there is no romantic affiliation with Mercy, expressing gratitude for the support and concern they’ve received since the beginning.
