Portable has stirred reactions once again after revealing that Olamide will one day wish he had signed him.

Sharing a long message on his Instagram story, the singer said his journey from being a “street rapper” to gaining international attention wasn’t luck—he believes it was destiny, hard work, and the support of people like Skepta who saw potential in him when others didn’t.

Portable described himself as unstoppable, claiming he rose above setbacks and disagreements in the industry. He insisted that he only fought for what he believed was right and that his refusal to be sidelined is the reason some people are uncomfortable with his success.

In his usual expressive style, he wrote that those who doubted him will eventually understand his rise. He thanked Skepta for backing him when others didn’t and reminded his critics that he is determined to keep climbing.

Part of his message read:

“If you forget me, my own God no go forget me. God bless Skepta, my helper who picked me up where others stopped. Love who loves you. Support who supports you. Make them continue to hate because I no be mumu. Zazuu turn local rapper to international act. When my time comes, nobody fit stop me.”

He added that Olamide will regret not signing him or keeping him close, insisting that he simply stood up for himself.

Portable closed with his trademark confidence:
“God sent my helper internationally. I can be bigger than them. I still remain Portable Omolalomi, Tony Montana of London.”
