Republicans in Congress are speaking out after the Department of Justice seized more classified documents from President Biden’s home in Wilmington, Delaware, with some accusing the White House of lying multiple times.
White House Special Counsel to President Richard Sauber said in a statement Saturday night that the Justice Department’s 12-hour search ended Friday night around 10:30 p.m.
“The Department of Justice conducted a thorough search of the President’s Wilmington residence on Friday, which ended late Friday night. The statement from the President’s personal attorney describes how the search was carried out, what materials were examined, and what was discovered. The President and First Lady were not present during the investigation “Sauber stated.
According to the statement, Biden directed his lawyers to be “fully cooperative” with the Justice Department during the investigation.
Former President Donald Trump commented on the ongoing controversy on Truth Social on Saturday evening.
“They made this Documents mess for themselves by being so DERANGED about me, and I did NOTHING WRONG!!!” he wrote.
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, reacted to the news with “AGAIN?!?”

Senator Rick Scott, R-Fla., stated that Biden had classified documents in his home for years without explanation.
