On Tuesday night, LeBron James set an NBA record by scoring his 38,388th point.

In the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Los Angeles Lakers star became the all-time leading scorer, breaking Kareem Abdul-39-year Jabbar’s record.

“I would never have dreamed this would be even better than it is tonight,” a grateful LeBron said after Abdul-Jabbar handed him a basketball and shook his hand.

His family and friends, including JAY-Z and Usher, were on the court to witness King James’ historic night, and he received messages of congratulations from music legends such as Rihanna, Drake, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar, who all paid tribute to the GOAT in a pre-taped video.

“I am so grateful to be a part of this historic moment,” Rihanna said. “Thank you for representing all of us; always strive for greatness, and congratulations, King James.”

Drake had a good time celebrating Bron Bron’s “legendary night.” He pretended to be in LeBron’s hometown of Akron, Ohio, but the green screen revealed he was in the club.

“I deceived you. “I’m still at the club in Miami, but all the girls say congrats,” Drake joked, who also posted a note to his friend on his Instagram Story.

“Congratulations, my brother @kingjames. They’ll probably have something new to say tomorrow, but for now, enjoy the praise, which is like silence to us,” he wrote.

Kendrick also congratulated LeBron on his historic achievement. “Seeing you with this kind of accomplishment always confirms that you can be great no matter where you come from,” he said.

Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Bruno Mars, Future, and others paid tribute on social media.
