Sanusi Muhammadu has officially been reinstated as the Emir of Kano after Governor Abba Yusuf presented him with his appointment letter on Friday.
The reinstatement ceremony occurred at the Government House in Kano, marking Sanusi’s return to the throne four years after his removal by former governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
The event, attended by traditional rulers, kingmakers, and other prominent dignitaries, took place just one day after Governor Yusuf signed the Kano State Emirate Council (Repeal) Bill 2024 into law.
