It’s been almost a year since Shakira released “Te Felicito,” a song that was followed by other big hits in which she revealed her feelings following her divorce from Gerard Pique.
And, despite being in love, the Colombian singer’s life has taken a negative turn, prompting her to write new songs that have allowed her to reposition herself musically, conquering all global hit lists.
Despite her success, Shakira does not rest and is already planning another musical collaboration, this time with another compatriot: Manuel Turizo, with whom she has been working on the song “Copa vacia” for some time.
The single’s cover, which depicts Shakira as a mermaid, was leaked in February.

Meanwhile, the newspaper El Nacional de Catalunya published a portion of the song’s lyrics.
One line reads, “I’ve been thirsty for you for a while now, I don’t know why, I’ve been wanting more and wanting to drink from an empty cup.”
According to Univision, the leaked portion of the song appears to mark the end of the artist’s relationship with the ex-Barcelona player, though some Spanish journalists believe it could be a hint about how she felt towards the end of her relationship with Pique.

Journalist Jordi Martin, who has followed Shakira since her relationship with Pique and has given important exclusives since their split, has revealed some images from behind the scenes of the video for “Copa vacia.”
According to Univision, the Colombian singer is disguised as a mermaid in the recordings, and she is also seen inside a large fish tank, indicating that she was captured and imprisoned.
According to the paparazzi, she is also seen dancing under a waterfall in a see-through dress.
Martin revealed on “El Gordo y La Flaca” that in the music video, Shakira and Manuel Turizo kiss, but this was not captured in the leaked photos.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Shakira is preparing to release her new album, “Deseo Inherente,” which will include 19 songs, including “Monotonia,” “Te Felicito,” and “TQG.”
