Spotify has revealed the top performers, songs, and albums from the previous 12 months as 2022 draws to a close.
The most streamed artist globally this year is Bad Bunny, with more than 18.5 billion streams. The rapper from Puerto Rico is the first group to have their music streamed the most on Spotify three years in a row.
The Weeknd comes in at No. 4, followed by Drake at No. 3, Taylor Swift at No. 4, and BTS at No. 5.

Drake, Swift, Bad Bunny, Kanye West, and The Weeknd round out the top five most-streamed artists in the United States for the year.
With “As It Was,” Harry Styles has the song with the most streams in the country. “Heat Waves” by Glass Animals comes in second, with “Bad Habit” by Steve Lacy coming in third. Me Porto Bonito by Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone and “First Class” by Jack Harlow are also on the list.
Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny, Harry Styles’ Harry’s House, Dangerous: The Double Album by Morgan Wallen, Midnights by Taylor Swift, and SOUR by Olivia Rodrigo are the albums that have received the most streams in the United States.
