Princess Madeleine of Sweden has welcomed a four-legged addition to her family.
The daughter of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia revealed on Wednesday that she adopted Oreo, a 3-year-old Havanese dog she rescued from a shelter in Miami, Florida.
Princess Madeleine, 40, shared three photos of her new furry friend on Instagram, saying Oreo was “tied up outside, under the Florida elements, for most of the day and night” before she took him in.
Oreo is pictured next to Teddy, a Labradoodle that she and her husband, Christopher O’Neill, share, in the opening photo of her Instagram carousel. Since 2013, the couple has been wed.
In March, she made Teddy’s debut to her Instagram audience. She wrote at the time, “Teddy is a true teddy bear who offers us all tons of cuddles and affection.
