Patrick Xavier Clark, the alleged murderer of Takeoff, wants a taste of freedom at a bargain, asking a judge to reduce his bail so he can afford to leave prison. Clark filed a motion in Texas Monday to reduce his $2 million bail, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ… his attorney, Carl Moore, says it’s too much for his client to afford.

The alleged gunman wants the bail reduced to $100,000, which he believes he can raise with the assistance of a professional bondsman. Clark says he’ll stay with his parents, where he’s always lived if granted.

His legal team also claims he will wear a GPS monitor and follow any curfew imposed by the judge. Clark is also willing to surrender his passport and says he will gladly comply with any “no-contact” order regarding specific people.

In November, Takeoff was shot and killed outside a Houston bowling alley. Clark was arrested and charged with the rapper Migos’ murder.

According to TMZ, Clark has already asked a judge for $5,000 to hire a private investigator, claiming he is unable to cover the costs on his own. He claimed that in order to properly prepare his defense, he needed to hire a private investigator.
