Former President Donald Trump recently accused President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris of inciting threats to his life. On Monday, Trump took to his X account, attributing these alleged attacks to falsehoods and divisive rhetoric from Harris, particularly during last week’s presidential debate.

Trump claimed that the “lies and false statements” made by Harris in the debate fueled further hatred and violence within U.S. politics. He wrote, “The rhetoric, lies, as exemplified by the false statements made by Comrade Kamala Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC Debate, and all of the ridiculous lawsuits specifically designed to inflict damage on Joe’s, then Kamala’s, political opponent, me, has taken politics in our country to a whole new level of hatred, abuse, and distrust.”

He also warned that this “communist left rhetoric” is causing increasing violence, stating, “Because of this communist left rhetoric, the bullets are flying, and it will only get worse!”

Trump reiterated his commitment to addressing immigration if re-elected in November, pledging to close borders and deport illegal immigrants, particularly those deemed to pose a threat. “Our borders must be closed, and the terrorists, criminals, and mentally insane, immediately removed from American cities and towns, deported back to their countries of origin. We want people to come into our country, but they must love our nation, and come in legally and through a system of merit.”

Finally, Trump expressed gratitude to law enforcement, particularly the U.S. Secret Service and Sheriff Ric Bradshaw, for ensuring his safety during what he referred to as an “interesting day.” He praised their efforts, calling the job “outstanding.”
