Dozens of Burkinabe nationals in Tunisia have been repatriated following President Kais Saied’s remarks about Sub-Saharan African migrants a few weeks ago.

Mr. Saied claimed they were part of a plot to change the demographic makeup of the country, which resulted in racially motivated abuse and violence directed at them.

A government-chartered plane carrying 64 passengers arrived in Burkina Faso’s capital on Wednesday.
