Following weeks of clashes, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has arrived in Kenya to assess the humanitarian and security situation in Sudan.
Mr. Guterres was met at Nairobi’s main airport by Kenya’s Foreign Affairs Minister Alfred Mutua on Wednesday morning.

During his two-day visit, the UN Secretary-General will meet with President William Ruto and all heads of UN agencies in Nairobi.
Sudan’s warring military factions have agreed to a seven-day cease-fire beginning Thursday.
