Former President John Dramani Mahama offered his condolences to the family of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, following the passing of his second wife, Hajia Ramatu Sharubutu, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
During his visit to the Imam’s residence, Mahama expressed his deep sorrow and shock upon learning of the sad news.
The announcement of Hajia Ramatu’s passing was made by Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, the Chief Imam’s spokesperson.
Despite grieving, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu is finding comfort in his faith and the support of his loved ones.
According to Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, the Chief Imam is devastated by the loss of his second spouse, Hajia Ramatu Sharubutu. However, he remains steadfast in his faith, demonstrating psychological stability and spiritual strength. He is also welcoming visitors and sympathizers who are offering their condolences and support during this difficult time.
