Adekunle Gold and Yemi Alade are adding their musical flair to the Hollywood scene once again.

The Nigerian music sensations are set to showcase their talents on the soundtrack of the upcoming Hollywood movie ‘The Book of Clarence’.

Adekunle Gold, the acclaimed singer and songwriter, will contribute to the track ‘Jeezu’ alongside American rappers Doja Cat and Kodak Black.

Scheduled for release on December 12, 2023, the soundtrack album will accompany the movie and boast collaborations with global music icons such as Jay Z, Jorja Smith, Lil Wayne, Shabba Ranks, Kid Kudi, and Buju Banton.

This collaboration with Yemi Alade and Adekunle Gold on ‘The Book of Clarence’ album soundtrack continues the trend of Nigerian music stars making noteworthy appearances in significant Hollywood productions.

In the year 2022, several Afrobeats artists like Burna Boy, Rema, CKay, Fireboy, and Bloody Civilian contributed to the soundtrack album of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

Fast forward to 2023, and Wizkid, Omah Lay, and Ayra Starr make their mark on Marvel’s ‘Spiderman: Across The Spider-Verse’ album soundtrack.

Adding to this trend, rising singer Konstance has also made an appearance on the soundtrack album for the recently released remake of the Hollywood classic ‘The Color Purple’.
