A helicopter crash-landed in Bonsokrom, a suburb of Agona Nkwanta, the capital of Ahanta West Municipality in the Western Region, with passengers onboard. According to eyewitnesses reported by Citi News, the helicopter, carrying 14 individuals including personnel from the Petroleum sector regulators, was cordoned off by Air Force personnel after the crash.

The unexpected descent of the helicopter into a bush near the Bonsokrom community caused concern among residents. However, all occupants, including crew members, were successfully rescued by Air Force personnel despite the alarming crash.
