Renowned Nollywood actor Amaechi Muonagor is currently battling a health crisis. In a circulating video on Monday, March 18th, 2024, the cherished actor was seen in a frail state, confined to bed. The purpose of the video was to seek financial assistance from Nigerians.
Actor Kingsley Orji, who was present by Muonagor’s side, conveyed the plea for assistance on behalf of the actor. The funds are urgently required to facilitate a planned kidney transplant surgery in India.
In early November last year, Amaechi Muonagor shared some challenging news. He disclosed that he had been diagnosed with kidney failure and had also experienced a stroke, resulting in paralysis on one side of his body.

He also appealed to Nigerians for support, stating, “I urge compassionate individuals to assist me in any way they can. I’m currently dealing with paralysis affecting half of my body. I am unable to move or walk independently. Half of my left leg is paralyzed, presenting a significant challenge for me.”
