The British songstress reacted to the verdict during her “Weekends With Adele” residency in Las Vegas on Friday, just hours after Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting the “Savage” rapper.
She began by recalling a viral mashup of Megan dancing to Adele’s song “Water Under the Bridge” while performing choreography to her hit “Body.”
The 15-time Grammy winner then appeared on stage to speak about Megan’s court victory. “Well, today, tonight, I’d like to wish Meg the Stallion a very, very merry, merry Christmas!” she exclaimed, as the audience applauded.
“Get your peace, girl. Now you can do whatever you want, baby! “I love you!” she exclaimed before kissing him.

Tory was found guilty of the shooting of Megan in 2020 by a jury in Los Angeles on Friday. He was found guilty on all three counts: assault with a semiautomatic handgun, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
Tory’s family was outraged by the conviction while Adele was celebrating. His father yelled in court as the verdict was read, later lashing out at Megan’s Roc Nation team, which included JAY-Z.
“I just stood here in Los Angeles County and witnessed the worst miscarriage of justice that this world has ever seen,” Sonstar Peterson said outside the courthouse.
Tory faces up to 22 years in prison and deportation to Canada when he is sentenced on January 27.
