Adele is said to have recorded a surprise album that will be released in a matter of weeks.
The pop star is known for taking years between albums, but according to a new report, she isn’t wasting any time in releasing her next one.
According to sources close to the Grammy-winning singer, she has recorded some of her “most uplifting and positive songs ever” and is planning to release a surprise album later this year.
Adele’s most recent album, 30, was released in November 2021 and was her first album in six years, following her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
According to a source, “some of 30 was actually recorded before the pandemic hit, so Adele sat on the record for ages during the lockdown.”

Her new music will be inspired by her life since then, particularly her relationship with sports agent Rich Paul.
“Since then, her life has completely changed. “She’s gone from rock bottom to madly in love and wants the whole world to know it,” the source adds. “Her music reflects this, and her upcoming album will be her most optimistic yet.” She won’t be the heartbreak ballad queen for much longer.”
Adele’s “Weekends With Adele” residency in Las Vegas has been extended with 34 additional dates between June and November. She is also working on a concert film.
“Playing to 4,000 people for 34 dates is not enough, and I know that,” Adele told fans at Caesars Palace’s Colosseum. “So I’ll be back for a few weeks in June, and I’ll release it so that anyone who wants to see this show can see it.”
