Nigeria’s renowned artist Ayodeji Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, has experienced a profound loss with the passing of his mother.
Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, Wizkid’s beloved mother, peacefully departed at approximately 1.30 am on a Friday.
Sunday Aare, a close associate of Wizkid and his long-standing manager, shared the sad news with BLINKSCOOP. He expressed that Mrs. Balogun’s passing occurred during the early hours of the Friday morning, stating, “Yes, she passed away this morning, around 1.30 am,” Aare conveyed.
The late Mrs. Balogun was a devoted mother to two other cherished children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
